About Me

Hi, I'm Lourie. Growing up, I was one of those children who loved drawing and sketching. I sketch paper dolls on the back of boxes and cut them out so my cousins and I can play with them. Of course, I drew the dresses for the paper dolls, too. They have to have a whole closet. When I moved on to Barbie dolls, I cut fabric from my clothes to make new outfits for the dolls. My folks weren't too happy about my ruined clothes but I think they got used to it eventually.

I have had a long relationship with design. I have practiced other forms of art like painting, graphics, and the like. But I will always come back to fashion. Professionally, I have been designing for over ten years. And what I love about it is there is still so much to learn. New technologies and tools for designing continue to evolve. I am happy that I am in this space doing what I love, continuously learning, and helping brands and individuals bring their fashion design ideas to life.
